Getting Started with MetaMask Chrome Extension

MetaMask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet that runs as an extension in Chrome. To get started, follow these simple steps:

Installation

1. Go to the Chrome Web Store.

2. Search for MetaMask.

3. Click on "Add to Chrome" to install the MetaMask extension.

Setting Up MetaMask

1. After installation, click on the MetaMask icon in the extension toolbar.

2. You will see a welcome screen. Click Get Started.

3. You have two options: Import Wallet if you already have a MetaMask wallet, or Create a Wallet if you're new.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your wallet. Remember to securely save your backup phrase.

Sending and Receiving Crypto

• To receive crypto, click on Account at the top of the MetaMask interface to copy your wallet address.

• To send crypto, click Send and enter the recipient’s wallet address and the amount.

Adding Custom Tokens

1. Go to the Assets tab.

2. At the bottom, click on Add Token.

3. Enter the token contract address, token symbol, and decimals of precision (if necessary).

4. Click Next and confirm.
